Your Web Tech Team is owned and operated by Traci Knoppe. Traci has been
a professional web designer since 1999, primarily specializing in ecommerce web design solutions, and blog installations.
In 2007, Traci began studying internet and affiliate marketing to learn more about how to help her clients better increase traffic to their web sites and how to market them online. Even though Traci herself obtained all of her web design clients via her own networking efforts, as well as by client referral, there was much to learn about internet and affiliate marketing so she could specifically help her clients. During the course of her studying she learned a great deal and also realized that her own business model needed to change to keep up with the ever changing online world.
Traci began speaking and teaching on blogging, social media and general web tech topics. She created courses to help others do for themselves what she had been charging her clients per hour to do for them. Her courses were a huge success; yet there were still quite a few who asked her to do it all for them.
It was then she realized that not everyone is the ‘do-it-yourself’ type, and business owners especially are busy and just need help managing their web tech and social media needs. She heard from countless business owners about their frustration at the cost of hiring the help they need. Money is tight for everyone – yet the needs they have are real and ever present.
An Idea Was Born
One afternoon, after yet another email from another frustrated business owner trying to work on their own web site, and reaching out to Traci for help, yet unable to afford to pay her normal hourly rate; the concept of the flat monthly rate for web tech services came to mind. Thus our new business model was born!
There are a couple other companies around that provide similar services, so the concept is not unique to Your Web Tech Team; but our ten (10) plus years of social networking to obtain all of our clients, ten (10) plus years of actual professional web design experience, our excellent customer service support record and our sincere desire to help others does make us unique.
In-House Staff: It’s All in the Family
The beauty of Your Web Tech Team is that our staff is in-house, and all in the family. Two of Traci’s adult children work for the company helping provide tech support services, in addition to Traci herself. This trained team is top-notch and is able to meet the client’s needs in a timely manner.
